I have an old four bolt pintle in the shed. I can get you measurements, for a reference. Should be able to tell were the fairing lands on it. I would hold fairing in place and mark the new holes from inside.

The Delrin washer can be bought, but I had the machine shop turn them. I made mine a little thinner 1/8".

I've totally rebuilt my rudder. Cut open the starboard side, gutted it, refilled with solid cell marine foam. Modified the pintle adding gussets to the underside.

Airethor,

What worked for you cleaning out the old foam?

When I rebuilt my rudder the foam was so saturated with water that for the mosst part it came out easily. In fact I could wring out the water like it was a sponge. Some pieces did need a little coaxing with a putty knife.
