That's funny. I just checked in here after searching stainless fabricators nearby for the last half hour. We're getting there. Deal on the boat is done, but seller is out of State until next week and I am hesitant to start messing with things until we have everything on paper. He says go, I say no. Half my time the last few days has been spent trying to figure out the best, least work intensive means of restoring 40 year old dark blue gelcoat. I really don't want to do the 2 part linear poly dance. Done that. Looks great, but I'm thinking clean thoroughly, wet sand, clean again, wet sand again (moving every upward in grit fineness), clean again, compound carefully, buff, repair where needed, and wax the hell out of it 3 times. She'll be in a shed for the winter. First order of business is to strip the bottom and unstep the mast (obviously) before it goes into the shed. Haven't decided whether to paint the mast or not. Done it several times, and even had great luck with 1 part polyurethane. Prep, etching and priming is key.
