Where is your inverter mounted?

P.O. removed a bad inverter and left me a replacement. However! I am not sure where the original was mounted in the first place. Can someone point me in the right direction?

No install is the same, was not a Tartan option, should be close to batteries.

Gotcha hmm okay. My house batteries are under the chart table seat. Is that typical?

My batteries are under the chart table seat and behind it. I have chargers/battery type stuff mounted to the wooden "wall" that is next to your legs to the port side when seated at the chart table. I don't have an inverter, but that's where I would think about putting it.

Thanks! On my boat there is an access hole there just to port of my knees when seated that has access to front side of the fuel tank. I think I see a good spot on the wall directly behind the engine and below the aft port quarter berth.

I positioned my inverter in that empty space under and to the left of the nav desk... like others, I cut a whole in the bottom of the nav desk to be able to access this space then mounted the inverter on the closest wall in that area. My batteries are directly on the other side of the nav desk in the short L area of the port settee. I bought the remote inverter monitor for the inverter and mounted it on the instrument panel at the nav desk.

Mine installed in compartment under quarter berth, above and close to batteries.Remote panel on side of galley sink next to stairs.You probably have yours in by now, wherever it fits.

Actually not yet! Thanks for sharing! I think I found where mine was originally mounted, just in front of the water heater, behind the engine. What is on the panel? Switch to turn on off?

Mine is mounted on the stern bulkhead behind the back quarter birth. I don't like it there because it's hard to view but it does get more air their than being installed in a hold. I installed a remote charger monitor that is mounted near the chart table.
