I have a Force 10 oven on my boat that runs on CNG. Cooks great, works fine. The problem is that the boat is 4hrs away from the only place I can find that fills those big "scuba" style tanks, what a PITA...
I don't even know a safe way to transport the tanks once filled.

Has anyone successfully converted their Force 10 oven to Propane? Is it even possible?
If so, I would go with external propane tanks that mount on the stern rail.

It's a pretty common job, I think. Mine has a single 11 lb steel tank in a locker that is dropped into the port side lazerette(sp). I have also seen the installation with 2 tanks. One on each side and I think those are 6lb tanks. I am not sure if you can buy a locker already set up that will fit in the space but if not, it is pretty easy to make one.

I am pretty sure re-jetting the stove is a simple procedure as well.
