I've decided on a Sea Frost, as noted they all use the same compressors but the SF has what I can tell, the better design. their cold plate freezer box should fit perfectly on the outward shelf so no need to make a partition. I also like that the unit is in a box, not only does it protect the compressor, but it sesame more effective. you can also duct the air somewhere else on the boat...I am thinking either the bilge or locker to keep some fresh air flowin. my estimate is about $1500, that seems to be about in the middle, Norcold being the cheapest, Fridgoboat being one of the most expensive.
