It is just too hot on the Chesapeake! Does anyone have a favorite spot, say in Maine, that they'd be willing to share? Like protected moorings and access to a train station
or airport? Man this heat is killing this old f__t!

Rockland Maine is at the southern tip of Penobscot Bay; excellent sailing grounds, great ground transport, cheap moorings, and a protected bay.

Further south you could try Portsmouth, NH or even further south Rockport, Ma but as longs as you're coming up this far, Rockland is worth the jaunt further north.
