A particularly nice anchorage we found in the Florida Keys. Check out the video here:

Enjoyed your video looks like you guys are having fun!
How's the porta-boat working out? I'm ready for a new dinghy and was seriously considering the 10'

The 10' is what we have. We like it. No real complaints. We haven't folded and unfolded it so far while living aboard although we did quite a few times the year we had it while still living ashore for storage. Not too tough, but like everything would be more challenging on a boat. It fits nicely upside down on the fore peak for transiting or towing or davits for short hops. If we get into longer voyaging, we may fold it and lash to stanchions.

We like it for the interior volume per length and weight. It planes with the both of us in it and a small amount of gear in calm conditions with our 6 HP 2 stroke. Motor size is limited (50 lbs or so) so you'll want to find something similar to what we have if you want to go fast.

We've heard it is more difficult to board from the water than an inflatable like when you are snorkeling, but we're pretty nimble and can make do. We've also never had an inflatable so we're not the best for asking comparison.

Let me know if any specific questions.

Thanks for all the info Zach. Can't wait for your next video, it's nice seeing a Tartan out there living the dream.

Mike
