Trip in no particular order. Clicked over 10kn in the Canal. Hit it just right, a bit wiggy about it minutes before entering, so I called a delivery captain friend who was [i]supposed to be with us. He delivers Hinckleys from SW Harbor to Portsmouth RI. Usually alone and never pauses for the "right" tide. On a schedule. Said don't worry about it unless you're getting spit out fast (we were) into a heavy SW wind. 8 footers await you in the relatively shallow Buzzard's Bay. We were lucky and pushed on for a full 24 hour run. Last couple of pictures were a very quiet Christmas in the Virgin Islands, albeit windy enough for one of those Barefoot cruise ships to stuff up into WE Tortola. Couldn't figure out where they were going. They anchored at the mouth of West End inside Frenchman's Cay. It gusted over 45 overnight. Slept like a baby except for that large ball bearing in a wooden box located somewhere on the boat. Have yet to find it.
