10-26-06: Email settings for the new tartan37.com caused email to not send from the forum. To those that signed up during this period, we apologize for the multiple emails. Email notifications are now functional.

10-26-06: Visual Confirmation settings have been simplified. No hi-lo or overlap will be seen from now on.

Note on cookies...

[short version]
If your autologin isn't working, delete cookies and make any bookmarks again and it will function properly.

[geek version]
Since we started the forum before we registered Tartan37.com, you may find that your PC doesn't "log you in next time" when you check that box at login. This is because of the conflicting cookies from the t37.down2thec.com address. Now that everything points to the same address, delete any bookmarks of t37.down2thec.com , make new boomarks of the new address, then delete cookies using your browser cache settings. (tag me for further instructions if needed.) From then on you'll be consistantly hitting Tartan37.com and the autologin will work. While both addresses will remain functional, using both leads to that login problem. Since all notifications from the forum contain links to the Tartan37.com address, that's the one you'll want to stick with.

Just found that the association site was still using the old URL address. (t37.down2thec.com) It's been updated to Tartan37.com. Please change any bookmarks you may have. Mixing the addresses messes up the emails that go out. Also Google is getting that path and I'd like to consolidate before things get out of hand. The old address will be invalid in a week or so.

Due to "Bots" creating bogus accounts, I just deleted 200 yet-to-be-activated user accounts. If any new folks find they can't activate an account they created in the last two months, please try again. It's simple for the crawlers to read the visual confirmation, so I hacked the board. New registration instructions tell you to just type "Tartan" and ignore the image.

This doesn't affect anyone that already has an active login.

Bumped the "Attachments per post" to 8. 3 pics per post was apparently a bit restrictive for the project shots.
