HI All,
Thought I would provide an update on Running on Empty, Hull #475 with the Scheel Keel that I purchased mid December...Currently on a mb at Fort Myers Beach working on the boat and getting her outfitted to do some sailing in the coming months. Everything takes more time living on the water accessing the shore by dink, but it is beautiful here with lots of different birds. I have been learning a ton about wiring and 12v, mostly by trial and error, but I get a good sense of accomplishment when I get things crossed off the list. Love the boat, she still needs so much elbow grease and cleaning, but that is not a priority yet as I am working on the engine, heat exchanger, zincs, pipe clamps, new hoses, etc. I don't think it will ever end, but it will get better once I can start sailing. Got a new Garmin 740S wired in the other day and can't wait to try it out and figure out the in hull transducer dead rise, mounting, etc.

Thanks again for your advice and I will post some pics in the coming weeks.

Anyone have any idea which LED bulb the anchor light takes? I replaced three group 27 batteries and also the starting battery but am killing them by morning with the fridge and anchor light running all night-thankfully I have a Honda EU2000 onboard as solar and wind are out of the budget for the time being.

Joe

Are you in a designated anchorage? If so you don't need the light on.

LEDs from Mastlight, can't beat them for quality and price.
