I just sold my Carter 33 - which was built like a tank. It just crosses the Atlantic solo.
I did "survey" a T37 in ME last Week end. I was surprised the deck flexed so much when I was "jumping" on deck. But at 135 pounds and no more heavy jumps than when taking a reef, I was a bit leery.... Has anyone experienced that feeling ?
Thank you.

Yes, not sure to the extent you describe. I t could be a soogy deck, due to poor install by some previous owners. However the deck is relativly flat, not convex as some other designes, I brought it up when my boat was surveyed, and thats what I was told and it I've not a had a problem. Fortunatley I only have some moisture up near the hawse pipe and the dodger, the rest is dry. Both were becasue of poor install of after sale insatlation by the PO.

Our deck around the traveler dances and flexes quite a bit during a violent luffing of the main. Never been a problem but it looks creepy to see it jumping like that so we minimize any trauma when possible. 29 years and still structurally fine.
