Hull construction

I am shopping for a Tartan 37 but have a question on hull construction. Is the entire hull balsa cored, or cored only to the water line? Thanks in advance.

She has coring under the waterline; however, the coring stops in areas of high stress and is primarily on the inside of a fairly substaintial hull. In other words, the outer skin is pretty thick before you get to the balsa. You can see the edges of the balsa in the starboard lazarette and under the v-berth to get an idea what I'm talking about.

Good luck in the search. Never heard any complaints about the hull. Just the deck coring.
Our hulls are strong like bull.
