Hello everyone,
Solen, #334 (37-2 k/c) is now hailing from Red Cliff, Wi. which is in the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior, we did not change her name when we bought her in June this year..
We sailed her from Racine Wisconsin up Lake Michigan and across Lake Superior, the weather was "rotten," not really bad but either too light or too heavy to enjoy sailing, so to make suitable progress we motored a lot.
My list of projects is currently too long to list but it appears that they will require more labor and love than money, that is if I as expected can do them myself.
The boat sails true to reputation quite well, although the puny main is annoyingly small for downwind work and the foresail needs a pole to take up the slack.
Coming back in steep, big seas, and motoring unable to use the sails during those days, I can confirm that I would consider buying another T37 unless I found an equal good value in a heavier boat.
