Hey Folks. I'm Diesel Dawg in VA Beach. I just did a repower and would like to share my knowledge with the group. I installed a Westerbeke 44b in a T37 and got much of the info I needed from this forum. Thanks! Now I'd like to help others do it easier. The stringers are tricky to get right so contact me at DieselDawgYachtCare@verizon.net if you need help. Thanks, Scott Wolff

Good going. I just repowered my Condor, previously had Volvo MD17C, with a new D2-40. Volvo supplied plans for motor mounts so I could use the old engine bed, saildrive, and it slipped in as smooth as you could please. The new engine is so much quieter and smoother, plus it is over 300# lighter. We have had the boat since new, 1983, and this is our second boat with a sail drive and for me it works just great. Just change the seal every 7 years and this is really only a half days job.
