Well, I guess I'll start...

Welcome to T37 Owner's Forum. I guess that should be the T37 Lover's forum really. I don't own a T37. My father owns hull #299 and I've pretty much cut my nautical teeth aboard that fine vessel. We sail out of Waukegan, IL.

I've been sailing since I was 5 years old. Spent 4 yrs at the Naval Academy, 5 in the Navy and I've been back in IL sailing the T37 since. The Skipper (Dad) and I do nearly all the maintenance on the boat and since Tom has done a great job with the newsletter and the association, we figured it would be nice to have a place to exchange knowledge of our fine vessels. I'm a moderator over at SolaraGuy.com and I figured this venue would be perfect. Since Tartan didn't crank out 12000 T37s a year, I imagine we'll be able to form a smaller but tighter group. The Solara forum has been a place to get and offer help for me and I hope this forum will provide a similar service to the lucky few who sail the T37C. The most beautiful rig in the harbor!

So join the crew, grab a beer from the galley, and introduce yourself!
Fair Winds,
Michael J. Civello (Down2TheC)

Hi alll,
Just to introduce myself. I'm a relatively new sailor with a beautiful Tartan 37 located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Hull number 143. There are a lot of "original" items on this Tartan and will be spending the next couple of years upgrading and rejuvinating "Don Quijote".

Nice place to be. Keep an eye out for those OEM hoses. Shocked 25 yrs seems to be as far as they'll go.
