For a cutter rig, my Tartan has a padeye between the forward hatch and the stem and I have a daisy staysail with an attachment on the tack and twin tracks forward of the genny tracks to control the sail. I am not close to the boat right now and for the life of me I can not remember if the padeye is forward of the anchor locker bulkhead or not.

You can see the padeye on the right side of this picture.

Thank you for posting photo i appreciate to see it and your tips my hull# 437 also has that pad eye on the forward deck area previous owner raced her but with all hank on sails.
What configeration was used on yours on mast as the inner forestay bracket to mount inner forestay to mast? Also does that same inner mast stay bracket have running back stays aft of same mentioned inner forestay mast bracket?
Just curious of needed extras to compensate for forward stress load while using sails on a inner forestay?
Also what lower release bracket is best to use for any time you want to remove it?
Thank you for information i appreciate your sharing.

My innner foresail is a tall narrow cut as the halyard hoists to the top of the mast.
Down at the tack, I have one of these.

Quick and easy to deploy but we don't use it much as the bay is not really wide enough to run for a while. And tacking is a pita.

Timshel, do you have any pictures or description of your anchor locker modification? Sounds exactly like what we want to do. We'd love to see any pointers you have about how to do it right.

Thanks.
Mike

I've seen the pictures on here somewhere - gray shelf & drain.
