My husband and I have moved to Oklahoma City and were planning on transporting our Tartan 37 (#197 built in 1979) with us, when some friends from Madison, WI, expressed interest in buying it. Our boat is on the hard in Georgia. One of the friends is 6’2” tall and wants to see what it’s like to be below deck before counting our boat out. Are there any Tartan 37 owners in the Madison area who’d be willing to let this tall sailor onboard for a few minutes? They’re also long-time sailors and really nice people. I appreciate any help out there Smile

I'm nowhere near Madison but as a 6'1" sailor, I can state that there is plenty of headroom in the main salon. The forward cabin is a bit tighter and the V-berth will barely accommodate his height. Usually, the wife and I play footsies all night. But that's not really a downside to me. Very Happy
