Boat is buttoned up, we're driving to Beantown at 2AM to catch the nonstop to STT. Home by noon. Bailed on the Jeanneau 40 purchase. Wife slapped me around, convinced me another 2 months in the yard when I haven't finished the Tartan is kinda stupid. Anyone going to windward, backchannel me for a cookout if you get 1000 miles SE of FL. It's great to be going home.

Safe travels. I been toying with the idea of getting another boat to daysail, like 20-28ft good sailing boat. Then we get a hurricane and thinking of dealing with two boats gives me second thoughts.

I’ll soon be listing Kinsale on the market, and I consider her to be well kept. I just rebuilt everything rudder related including opening up the rudder itself and reinforcing the tangs with fiberglass, filling with high density foam, new pintle, new stern tube and Edson steering chain/cable. There’s always a list of things that need attention which I’ll eagerly share it, and my primary concern is finding a good home for a boat that saw me through some wonderful as well as some intimidating conditions.
