Greetings one and all.

I am very grateful to all the information this forum has provided. A heartfelt thanks you to all the contributors and especially to those responsible for running this site.

I am the new owner of a 1980 T37-2 hull number 242 "Romp" currently on the hard in Deale, MD. I previously sailed and still own a Pearson 323 heavily revamped for cruising but love the Tartan 37 for sailing ability and beauty of lines.

Sadly "Romp" is pretty tired and in need of a lot more than the survey revealed proving once again a survey isn't worth the paper it's written on. But even though one can get medication and therapy for boat ownership and repair I am going to revive and hopefully cherish my new toy. Might be a couple of years until I get done but hopefully it'll be worth it.

Regards,
Al

Thanks very much and I hope to add to that information if I can. This forum has been invaluable for upcoming projects like rudder rebuild, centerboard rebuild, adding a solent stay or inner forestay, redoing the starboard side of the interior, etc. etc... Seek and ye shall find has true meaning here. Tons of good info.
