Hi all,

Been lurking on these forums for quite a while but thought I should introduce myself since I'm soon going to have a lot of questions for you all.

A bit of my history - My dad gave me our family's 1981 Tartan 37, hull #311 two years ago when he retired to Florida. The boat is a year older than I am, and has always been kept in Bristol condition. I grew up sailing on it and feel like I know almost every inch of the boat, but there are always surprises as you all undoubtedly know... The boat is kept in Saugatuck, CT and I live in the Bronx.

Projects for this spring include fixing a diesel leak on the high pressure side of the secondary fuel filter housing, replacing the head faucet/shower, and the (aftermarket) cockpit shower, and replacing all sanitation hose for the head/holding tank, and replacing the discharge pump.

I'll probably be posting some questions regarding the leaky diesel filter housing in the engine maintenance section soon.

Attached is one of the few pictures I have of the boat, on what was a great day of sailing.

Thanks!
James

Welcome James,

Always good to see more generational T37 owners! (My Dad keeps trying to "hand down" ours to me.)

Tartan
