Lever style, but the compression of the levers is adjustable with screws....if that makes sense??

Thanks for all the information. I'm going to go with the Hood hatches, and since I just billed out for a nice little freelance project, I have enough to cover the hatches AND my boat insurance for the year!

Here's the Hood Traditional front hatch replacement installed. Salon hatch is next. Then on to new stainless port lights!

Soon we'll be 3D printing these out of date parts and our old vessels will live forever! Head to Kinko's an print out a new hatch hinge. Mmm Beer
