We decided to open up a little space forward of the port tank. The opening in the seat is 6X12 inches and the interior height starts at 15'' inboard. Plus we found out why the hoses to the head are so hard to remove. They are buried in the foam supporting the tank.

And pictures of our new mainsail cover.

Nice sail cover!
I wonder why Tartan did not increase the size of the water tank if they had all of that space.....but of course, that would make our port list a bit more pronounced Shocked My hoses come through the bilge rather than under the tank....curious. You could always abandon the old and run new through the bilge.

I just had horrific flashbacks when I saw your pictures. I just replaced all of my fresh water lines and made this very same discovery. I cannot tell you how many hours I spent trying to free the lines. BUT...they are now free and new. The worst part is that it looks like they TRIED to keep the foam off of the lines by running them through 1 1/2" tubing, but the tubing itself was filled with foam. That is one project I am happy to have in the rear view mirror! Best of luck with yours!
