Anyone know where to get teak steps that can be attached to a transom boarding ladder? The Admiral is tired of standing on the 1" stainless rungs.

I found them on the web from a place in Thailand but with shipping it took to long and cost a little under $100. I bought the teak locally for under $20 and made them myself. The router bit to cut the radius for the rung was another $25, but I have since made a new outboard bracket as well.

Just thought, I am thinking about replacing mine using 5/8 Starboard. Can work with it ilke wood and it doesnt need the care fo teak Wink Does get dirty though, used starboard to redo the teak grate in the head.

Chef,
To mask the dirty look of white Starboard, swich to a gray version if you can find it.
Here is 3/4 " from Harbor Sales out of Baltimore but you need to buy an 8' sheet Shocked

Or you can try McMaster-Carr:

Starboard is a great idea. I checked Mcmaster-Carr and found some HDPE in white alot cheaper than I can get teak around here (and no upkeep). If I make people take their shoes off before using the swim ladder it should stay clean. Chuckle
