Here's a helpful storage tip: the starboard side drawers in the v berth are of uniform depth. You can gain valuable space if you re-build the drawers to take advantage of the curvature of the hull. The upper two drawers can be significantly deeper. The bottom on is not worth the re-build.

Neat tip! Man, these guys are shy. 13 views and not a word. And you know if we were at the harbor with beers you couldn't shut 'em up.

Two spaces on my T37 that don't get used is the area under the aft quaterberth, and the area under the nav table locker. On mine (#315), there is an access port by my feet on the port side. Since I haven't found a use for that little area, I keep my empty gallon diesel oil bottle there. In the fall when I change the oil, I know right where it is to drain the old oil into. However.... if I was doing some serious cruising, I think that space could be put to better use.

I use the space under the nav table for all sorts of stuff. There is a size of rubber maid plastic boxes that will just go in the hole and allow you to lay it longitudinale wise. I pack them with stuff I don't use that much, the size of the box iis about 12"X9"X6". I lay the boxes directly on the hull and stack them up the side. This will allow me to put 3 of them in and I put other things like climbing harness etc on top of the boxes. Its a good space, the rubber maid boxes are the key though.

The storage under the nav area is an awkward spot, the rubbermaid boxes are a good idea. Its nice and dark in there, so knowing what's in the boxes is important. You could add a divided pigeon-hole type box for rolled up charts that would just slide into the opening, and if it's done right this box could be removable to access the lower area and the space to the right.

Also a good spot for electronics. Easy cable run to the cabinet, shelf, or to the c/b panel. I've eyeballed that for future XPC dreams if I ever have the need to bring HighFlight into the StarTrek era.
Me: "Computer... Lay in a course for Saugatuck."
HighFlight: "Aye, Aye, Captain...Please trim for a close reach." (Sexy female voice of course Razz )

I used the some of the area under the quarter bert area it install a battery box fo 2 6 volt AGM batteries. Access to engine still good and trim not thrown out too much. Gave me the equivalent of a D4 (180 AH) with much easier installation

We put custom fit shelves in the starboard hanging locker in the v-berth. Gives you tons of room if you don't need to hang a lot of things.
