Just wondering, has anyone installed adjustable Genoa lead cars on their boat?

They sure would make sail trim easier, although the relatively sharp bend in the track has me wondering if it would work at all.

Appreciate any insight on this.

I have no idea why this posted twice, and of course, I can't delete one of them. So let's not use this one and just the other.

Apologies.

I am not understanding. The T37 came from the factory, I think, with Merriman adjustable genoa tracks and cars.

Maybe I am missing something?

My guess is he is looking for a line adjustment system so you can move the car under load. Garhauer probably makes something that would work.

cseltzjr - bingo. line adjustable cars is what I was looking for.

Garhauer does have them, as does Harken. I'm just wondering if anyone here has installed them and how it is working.

I have pondered it but have not had an experience on a boat that has them that convinced me they are worth the additional trip hazards. I would be interested in hearing courter point experience on this item.

What about using low friction rings for your sheet leads? I’m thinking about setting some up to see how they work.
