Here's a project for the woodworker: replace the cheap plywood sliding cabinet doors with raised panel inset doors. This improvement makes an amazing difference in the quality of the interior. Of course if you have to pay someone to do the work, this could get pricey.
I also recently replaced my overhead hatches with the stainless "Traditional" line from Hood yacht systems. This also made a big difference in the exterior appearance since I already replace the portlights with the stainless.
I think I'm passed the "re-sale threashold".......I better keep her.....

Yeah, the doors swing out and don't interfere with too much, I have a speaker that one will hit if opened too far. They are out of teak and I have a latch system that works preety good: you push on the door inward and it will release the door to open. This latch won't accidentally open if something on the inside falls against the door or latch....and its cheap and availible through a good hardware store....its out of delrin plastic so it won't rust either. As soon as I figure out how to post pics, I'll send them out.
