I've just had the gas system reconfigured, and the gasfitter removed a solenoid that had been attached to the bottle out in a locker on deck and replaced it with a manual stopcock in the cabin under the sink. Problem is that the solenoid was wired to a prominent warning light next to the companionway that let me know when the line had been left open. I'd like to find a way to use that warning light with the manual stopcock, but can't seem to find a 12v sender from the stopcock to the light. I could probably rig something up, but am a bit concerned with electrical sparking around the gas line. Has anybody had any experience with anything like this?
