Well, it involved MATH but I think I have the answer. I took the picture from the Tartan brochure and printed it out in landscape mode. Hoping that the engineering department gave the marketing department an accurate drawing of the interior of the boat, I measured from stem to stern and used 37'2" as the overall length. Once I had the ratio calculated, I measured the pilot berth length and found it to be 6'. This was close enough due to low resolution of the picture and lower resolution of my old eyes.
Well, anyway. I figured the width at the shoulder area as ~27" and mid-thigh area as ~22". The length of the opening is ~59". So now I have a place to start with designing the storage the Admiral wants.
