These are all "befores." Before I paid for it. A couple of chainplate photos, etc. and hull. Sorry about the overall quality. But it's only fair you see the "befores." She's in a dirty, dusty, barn swallow shitting shed right now while I work on the bottom, through hulls, topside gelcoat recovery and get the sanding and spooging done on the deck. Then we'll get to the engine.

They weren't upside down when I posted them. I'll whittle a decent boat out of this thing. Huh! You click on 'em and they're NOT upside down. Anyway:

I'll be putting the radome on a fixed mount on the transom. When I got ahold of Questus and told them someone put a 24" dome on the backstay, their speech got nervous. Bad idea. That's one heavy monkey bouncing up there. Ain't going back. The photos are just random. Sometime soon I'll get more specific and post things of interest. Have to blow out to St. Thomas on Tuesday for a week. Got half the bottom stripped to gelcoat for fairing, rudder ready to install, sitting and staring at the skeg and holding it in place over and over. I think I'm going to cut the picked front of the skeg first and try to line it up as best I can (widest part to widest part) where it couples to the hull, then knock a couple inches off the back, mark the holes from above with spray paint, drill it (after cleaning out excess closed cel foam), glass over the foam to keep the marine life down some, and if I need to cut it again when I fit it to the rudder, I can do that easily before trying to boost the whole assembly into place.
