Upgraded Solar Controller with Vectron MMPT, reputed to be 30% more efficient. Will try out this summer. Other gear, Galvanic Isolator, Battery Charger, 1500 Watt Inverter and disconnect switch, 100 Amp sub panel. Also installed knee board for more comfortable access to Engine Servicing.

Looks very good. The Victron MMPT controllers do not do well with lower voltage setups, had to go to series and lost my shading benefits. Talked to a couple of others who work in the business and they said the same. Ended up going back to the Tracer MPPT. Have as a backup.

I have (2) Group 27 and (1) Group 24 Wet Cells under nav seat, additional Group 27 in Port Settee Compartment as close as I could get to center of the boat. The Three group 27's serve as my house bank. I lost some space with the battery Compartment mods, adding pos and neg busses, thus only room for group 24 for start. Batterys are all Costco Interstates. I lasted 2 weeks on anchor at BI last summer with (4) Group 27's and 160 W Solar, running Alder Barbour Refrig system. I was hoping The Vectron MMPT Controller would be more efficient. I have flex panels on Bimini, wired in parallel, I'm pretty sure.
