There are also two 2 X 4s glassed in under the cockpit floor which I assume were done at the same time and it id totally stiff, even with my 220lbs. I don't know how stiff it was before of course....

I replaced the three wood boards with two pieces of 1/2" polycarbonate. They are heavier to handle but very strong and allow more light below at those times (rain or cold) I have them installed.
