We replaced all the sink cabinetry with teak veneer plywood. And replaced and moved the faucet. The new faucet has a hose attached to the nozzle so you can use it as a regular faucet or a shower head.

P1000624.JPG [ 147 KB | Viewed 0 times ] So we have Impetuous back together again and took her out sailing in the GICW today. And popped the cold water hose off the water heater. Talk about heart stopping. I saw the bilge pump was running way too long and reached down and turned it off. Thinking that the water witch had some scum behind the sensor, I pulled up the deck board and saw several inches of water in the hull!!!
Turning the bilge pump back on made the level go down but where the hell was all this water coming from??? Let's see, not forward. Running out from under the engine. So I guess the packing gland has failed. (you know the next nastiest thing to have go out.) Crawl down into the starboard cockpit locker. No, not the packing gland. Looks like the water is coming from under the water heater. Well, it is because that's where the hose has dropped to and the pressure water pump is merrily emptying the starboard tank to the bilge. Crawl out of the locker and tell the wife not to worry because it's not a catastrophic failure. Turn off the pressure water and close the valve to the starboard tank and we're good.
Although, time period between seeing the bilge pump light and turning off the pressure water pump felt like a couple of hours.
