I need to upsize my little 19 - 20 gallon holding tank.
I'd like to place the new holding tank in the same location, port side of the V Berth. A 30 gallon tank would be a big improvement.

I saw the thread of memos of placing a new tank forward, centered in the V Berth and going with a Ronco 45 gallon B 445 model. I'd prefer to keep the tank aft a bit on the port side of the V Berth.
Any comments, recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Nick.

Nick,
If you want to put a Ronco tank in that port area, I'd recommend carefully measuring the area to determine the maximum size tank that you want. Then go to Ronco's online catalog and copy / paste it into a spreadsheet then filter on the 3 dimensions you want to find the tank closest to the dimensions you want.

I went with the V-tank solution about 4 years ago and it worked great. Added the SCAD tank level sensor next to the medicine cabinet and used Poly X hose and bent Sch 40 PVC for the horizontal runs to ensure no odor permeation. This installation replaced one on the port side.
Good luck with the project.

Doesn't sound like original equipment... hope it's not a quickie solution to catch a leak and sponge to encourage evaporation...
How 'bout an image ?
