Has anyone installed an Atlantic Towers solar tower? We have ours which will be installed soon. We converted to the "Electric Yacht" electric motor last year so this is the next step. We currently have 384 ah of 48v LiPo for our motor bank.

I'd love to find someone that has installed this model and see where the feet fall...(though we'll find out as soon as we mock it up.)

With the issues I've been having sorting out this 44 year old W50, I've been strongly considering a re-power of Anne Bonny. My first thought has been to repower with another diesel, but I've also been considering electric.

What was the cost of doing the conversion, if you don't mind sharing? I'll assume that lithium-ion batteries are the recommended pathway. We have two solar panels aboard that keep up with our four AGM batteries, but I just don't know how well that would keep up with a pair of Li-ion batteries.
