No finger docks at my slip. Either back in or bow in. Climb off the bow right now. A bit shaky using the Rocna blade as a step. Can't come alongside anywhere at the moment to unload all the crap off the boat. I think backing in might work, but it was the mosquito witching hour when we docked the other night and I simply wanted to get out of there.

Anyone have a plank type of setup or other methodology for convenience in such a situation? Photos? I'm going over at daylight tomorrow AM and make an attempt at backing in before the morning winds pick up. The pilings outside are just wide enough apart, but that 2 blade Martec is not the cat's ass in reverse.

Backing with a two blade folding prop is tough. Euro boats do med style all the time, I would give it a try.

While it certainly would allow for some control while backing, I don't think it would be a good idea to dump an anchor in the Lagoon. She's pretty foul. We're headed out right now to see if I can spin it and get in ass backwards. Need to get all the stuff off the boat. She come down loaded.
