This will be my second winter storage season and Zephyr didn`t come with her own cradle. I`d like to buy my own jack stands to save the rental costs over the next 15 years. What range of height should the stands be within?

Go to Defender Marine, they're about half as much. Get six SB-3 Flat top and one SB-2 V-top and chain to secure. They're on sale till the boat show.

puffcard,

I`m presuming this is your set-up? Why seven stands? I would think six with a chain between each pair would do it. ?

You need the bow support stand as the bow is so fine it is unsupported by the forward most stands on the hull. If you have the deep fin keel version two of the stands need to be larger---6 ft base height at least for the stern---mine need to extend to 9 ft to reach the stern with the keel blocked.
