I am mainly curious: This question has been in the back of my head for awhile and I chalked it up to a manufacturing mistake that was never corrected. Why is the ceiling liner in our quarterberth about 5 inches shy of the bulkhead at the foot of the berth? I figured that they built the mold for this liner a little too short and felt that it was not worth the trouble to build a new mold? Is it purposeful? If it's a mistake, why didn't they correct it for later models? I would have though that it should be extended and fiberglass tabbed into the aft side of that bulkhead for added strength.
Thoughts? Have you done anything to this to dress it up a bit?
