My centerboard is out for work, Art is making a new pivot for me. The bolts holding the pendant pad eye were loose so I decided to investigate ! Another problem to fix!!!!! I enclose a photo for your enjoyment. Bruce.

Yup! Kinda resembled mine...........Here's the solution I came up with: two straps through bolted with cap nuts.
