The rebuild continues,the last few days project was the foredeck. There had been some leaks intp the core, and a non functioning deck wash.I decided to repair it from above,then cover the repairs with Treadmaster to give a good working deck surface. All fittings removed and rebedded in butyl with G10 backers except for the windlass and the large cleat which have a half inch aluminium plate under [had it water jet cut to shape] I still have the excess butyl to remove and a couple of bits of treadmaster to add each side.Grinding of the non skid was fun! belt sander and disc grinder. Hopefully this is fit and forget for a long while ! Regards Bruce. [I have a plan for the centerboard conduit for next winter !!]
