I own a t37, hull no 478. I have found that my portlights leak in varying degrees, all 8 of them, I called Tartan and they said they were made by Lewmar. It is hard to verify that as there are no identifying markings. I am interested in replacing the gaskets or seals but it would appear that is going to be difficult as it looks like the seals were factory installed and dont just pop out. Surely (: not Shirley) there is a way to replace the seal rather than replace to entire port light which sounds like a very expensive fix. Your help would be appeciated PMG

You have a late model T37, so I guess the portlights are different than the majority of the older ones which use the plastic beckson ports. Are your frames aluminum? How about pictures? Of course, you can always contact Lewmar to get a recommendation.

Um, News to me that they used Lewmar? I thought all T37's had Becksons? at least for OEM ports. If you find they are Beckson, there is a good thread here about updating them. I replaced the lens, gaskets, screens and changed out the knobs to lathces.

Solare is hull #442 and was originally equipped with the plastic Becksons, the PO replaced them with the NFM portlights. Are you sure they haven't been upgraded?
