I had my T37, #68 in the hoist with the board down and level port to starboard. Viewed from the front, the board was off to port a considerable amount, maybe 10 -15 degrees and was not true fore and aft but turned a bit. I shimmed the hinge plate so the board was straight in both directions. That,s when I found the board wouldn't retract because it bound up against the side of the trunk. Turns out the whole trunk is laying to starboard. Even the landing for the hinge is cocked that way. Ended up with a "happy medium situation", where the board is still off a bit to port but at least straight fore and aft. Next time you have your boat in the air, you might want to check the board for straightness, mine was all original and not even close. Now it's about 85% of what it should be.
