What are you using? Both need replacement and the jib halyard is a wire to rope and I want to go all rope...? Will the sheaves take all rope? I assume they do cause I see some rope coming out the top when the shackle is down.

I went all rope, Sta-set X from Rigging only. A full reel was almost the same price as three halyards and I have a lot left. I think it was 9/16" but I am not sure. I can find the receipt if you are really keen to know. I tried three times to do a wire to rope splice and never got it looking how I wanted n my last boat which had a narrower shiv.
