When I purchased my boat I decided to change the name. The old name was painted on the transom. I assume I will need to have someone sand the stern, repaint and then paint on my new name. My boat is in the Annapolis area. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone good to do this work in the area.

I had to do the same thing on Abraxas and did a credible job doing roll and tip with the left over paint from the PO. I removed as much of the old name as I could, then wet sanded the entire transom the rolled and tipped it with Awlgrip. It is a 5 foot Job, that is it looks great at 5 feet.
