I have installed vinyl overlay on my cabin sole. the old floor had several rotton spots and many nicks and dings. it was very discolored. I didn't want to get involved with replacing the old plywood teak and holly and saw this vinyl at the Newport boat show last year. It was very easy to work with, and very durable. I cleaned out the rotted areas which were several plys deep and filled the areas with epoxy. I made a doorskin templates to use to cut the material -- Lonseal Teak and Holly. I used vinyl floor mastic adhesive. The project is now completed and the new floor is very attractive. If I can be of help to anyone considering such a floor, feel free to contact me @ nap1314 AT rochester.rr.com.
