Bow roller for rocna (last, which I uploaded first - I'm getting it). I'm not wild about the leverage created, but the youngest son said the whole bow will have to tear off and I shouldn't be doing whatever causes that if it does.
I've got photos of the rudder fairings done (but not painted), the traveler, etc., etc. But have to do them when I can. (See below). I'll get the bow roller from above as well. We've decided to bag the T37 for the winter (shrink wrap) and go sail the Jeanneau for awhile. I'd really like to bring the T37 down in the spring, but there's more work yet to do.
When I do the deck hardware, I slightly countersink the holes and use butyl in the countersink - sometimes a loop around the bolt, sometimes just fill the hole proud and thread the bolt through. It depends. Areas of hard contact I put a little polysulfide in to seal it and keep hard surfaces separated a bit.
I did use some 4100 here and there, but unless it's at least semi-permanent, or exposed, or below the waterline, I prefer polysulfide.
AND I have no idea why all my photos post upside down. Perchance I will take some upside down and see how those post.

File comment: rudder fairing done and it's smooth as glass. Those SS screws are actually countersunk.

File comment: Martec prop tuned up. Had to add material at the bearings where they come together. Nice job.

File comment: Bow roller. Much leverage, but well backed and three round-head 3/8" bolts holding it. New 33# Rocna in at Hamilton. I decided 44# too much.
