Has anyone found a good source for a new D.C. circuit panel without having to pay the extortion $$$$ West Marine wants?
I like the Paneltronics panels, but the one that fits the space where the original is, is a special order.

This panel is 7-3/4" by 17-3/4" which is tight, but should fit. I added a new main A/C panel several years ago, so I'm good there...

Nice, but not cheap. I will definitely be putting in a new, or a supplementary panel, too so will watch this space with interest:)

I have tried to get someone to beat Jack Rabbit's prices and I have not found anyone once I factor in shipping and handling. Then when I add support...well there is no contest!

So, http://www.jackrabbitmarine.com has this Blue Sea panel that is a close match to the Paneltronics. It is $661.00 with free shipping.

I installed a Link2000 battery monitor so I don't need the digital meter on the panel so I have my eye on this one...for only $446.00 Snicker

Yeah, I realize it's an old post but I got an old boat so....

Jackrabbit Marine no longer has the website. But Blue Sea still sells the 8264 panel. I already have better gauges for the battery and solar panel controls so I don't need the gauges a second time. Interestingly, 12 years later and Defender sells the panel for $481.

Do you suppose I really need to do this chore? After Sally, my slip is unusable for the next 6 to 12 months, so I thought this would be a great winter project.

www.newwiremarine.com they will make whatever you want and the price was really good when I was looking (I haven’t bought anything yet).
