Has anybody measured the diameter of the wiring conduit inside the mast?

We'll be in the boatyard next month installing a new radar cable and are trying to figure out if all the necessary wiring (lights, wind transducer, VHF, and radar) are going to fit or if we need to install a second (or larger) conduit.

When I ran the radar cable it wouldn't fit. So ran separately, with pipe insulation around it. Seemed the conduit was about 1in.

Two and a half years ago we added a new radar, with the cable running down the mast outside the conduit. We tried the "spiders of zip ties" trick to reduce the banging noise, but that didn't work. This month when we had the mast pulled, we found all the broken zip ties lying on the mast step.

It turns out the conduit diameter is slightly bigger than 1 inch. After removing all the old wiring we were able to enlarge and clean up the conduit entrance near the spreaders. We also found a couple of broken rivets for the conduit.

We pulled the radar cable and a 20/3 gauge cable for the steaming & foredeck LED light down through the mid-mast entrance. Then we pulled a new LMR-400 VHF cable, another 20/3 cable for masthead anchor/nav light, and the Raymarine wind sensor cable down from the masthead. The only tricky part was pulling the mid-mast cables first because making the 90 degree bend into the conduit doesn't work if the conduit isn't empty.

Both the LMR-400 and the radar cables are about 0.4" diameter. The other 3 (masthead light, mid-mast light, wind sensor) are about 3/16" diameter each. Everything fits inside the conduit.
