Hi, I have not been able to thread the pennant through the mast again. I got a fishing wire down a few times but now it stops after the 90 degree angle. I assume the exit is cover with barnacles.

I have sailed with the board down and pennant tied to the aft cleat but it chaffed through at the centerboard last night. I noticed it this morning

Can I remove the centerboard in the water by releasing the 6 bolts and then hoist it by the halyard? I'm doing it with just snorkeling and alone. I have about 800 nm left to my haulout destination.

I read it is 125 pounds

I figured it out. Only 3 of the bolts was half decent. It came flying out when I released the last bolt

Check your bolts people!

If you search the forum for centerboard bracket you might find what you are looking for.
