We refinished the cabin sole on Cavu over the last few weeks. We stripped off all the old finish with heat guns and scrapers then bleached the floor using oxalic acid to remove the water stains where the old finish had been damaged or deteriorated. That worked surprisingly well after 3 applications. We sanded up to 320 and applied 5 coats of Totalboat Halcyon Water Based Polyurethane in one day. I think it came out pretty well.

That does look great. Nice to see the original brought back to life.
Would like a feed back on future on how that finish holds up.
