Let me get to the computer . . . so, the first photo shows the aftmost fiddle block with the outhaul wire coming off it at the bottom. That wire goes around a wire block in the end fitting of the boom. That block is held in with a small bushing, a couple of tiny washers and a cotter pin. The wire is captured by the block until you carefully take it apart and drift the bushing out.
The forward end of the aft fiddle block is attached to one end of the outhaul line, looped in and made to the aft fiddle block. That line goes to the forward fiddle block, around the small block, back to the aft fiddle block, around the small block, back to the forward block, around the larger block and back to the aft block, around the larger block WHEREUPON the bitter end leads forward to the boom exit point. PULL on it and the outhaul car moves back. The forward end of the forward fiddle block is fixed to a "spacer" bar and the aft end of that "spacer" bar has a rubber/plastic "plug" on it so when you pull on the outhaul it provides purchase against the inside of the mast end fitting. Whew.
If you look at the photos under "more outhaul" you can see what I'm babbling about. Nothing complex.
By the way, the winch mounts for the mast & boom are just cut and shaped aluminum stock. I'm going to paint them 2 part poly.
